IMU Research 3.3

IMU Research offers a comprehensive solution for inertial measurement data collection using IMU BlueThunder Sensors within a single application. The platform facilitates accurate, multi-limb biomechanics data acquisition in field settings through the use of small, synchronized, high-frequency inertial sensors.

Key features include:

• Ability to record and synchronize data from up to eight sensors simultaneously at 9-axis 500Hz when stored locally on device memory, supporting two concurrent trial sessions.
• Capability to record and synchronize up to eight sensors at 3-axis 1000Hz with onboard storage, also supporting two concurrent trials.
• Real-time streaming and synchronization of up to four sensors to an iOS device via Bluetooth at 9-axis 100Hz.
• Streaming of up to four sensors at 3-axis 500Hz to an iOS device via Bluetooth.

Post-recording, data can be effortlessly exported as CSV files for further analysis using platforms such as Excel, MATLAB, or Python. For onboard recordings, a dedicated desktop application is available to facilitate data management in conjunction with the IMU Research iOS application.

The IMU BlueThunder Sensors are now fully integrated with Vicon Nexus 2.7, representing Vicon’s first integration of an Inertial Measurement Unit. Vicon is an industry-leading, award-winning provider renowned for its advanced motion capture and tracking systems.

Please note that IMU Research is compatible exclusively with IMeasureU’s Inertial Sensors operating firmware version 1.0.0 or higher.
